Cancellations and Rescheduling

Lessons can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before start time, otherwise it will be accounted for. You can reschedule the session by writing an email at: studio@soundyourvoice.uk

Tardiness

In case of late arrival, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time. This loss of time will not be made up at another time.

Teacher Cancellation

If the teacher needs to cancel the lesson, it will be rescheduled at a time that is mutually convenient.

Refund Policy

Lesson fees paid in advance are always redeemable (before their expiry date) but not refundable or transferable.

Expiry Dates

All prepaid lessons and lesson bundles have a date when they expire:

30-Minute & 60-Minute Lessons: 30 days from date of purchase

5 x 30-Minute & 60-Minute Lesson Bundles: 90 days from date of purchase
10 x 30-Minute & 60-Minute Lesson Bundles: 180 days from date of purchase

60-Minute Taster Session: 30 days from date of purchase

• To respond to your inquiries and to fulfil your requests, when you contact me via the online contact form or otherwise, for example, when you send me questions, suggestions, compliments or complaints, or when you request information about my website.

Providing you with my newsletter and/or other marketing materials and facilitating social sharing:

To send you marketing communications, that I believe may be of interest to you if you have indicated that you would like to receive them. To facilitate social sharing functionality that you chose to use. I will engage in this activity with your consent.

How I may collect Other Information

I and my third-party service providers may collect Other Information in a variety of ways, including:

• Through your browser or your device: Certain information is collected by most browsers, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, device type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system version, Internet browser type and version and the type and version of the website that you are using. I and my service providers may also collect a unique device identifier assigned by me or my third-party service providers to the device from which you are accessing my website and other transactional information for the device that I and my third-party service providers may use to serve content and advertisements to the device.
• Through your use of Mobile Apps: When you download and use a Mobile App, I and my service providers may track and collect Mobile App usage data, such as the date and time the Mobile App accesses my server and what information and files have been downloaded to the Mobile App based on your device number.
• Through server log files: An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a number that is automatically assigned to your device from which you are accessing my website by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and is identified and logged automatically in my server log files whenever you visit my website, along with the time of the visit and the activity on the website. I and my third-party service providers use IP addresses for purposes such as calculating website usage levels , helping diagnose server problems, administering the website and determining your approximate geographical location.
• Geographic location information: If you use any location-enabled products or services, you may be sending me location information. When you use a location-enabled service, I may collect and process information about your precise geographical location, such as GPS signals sent by a mobile device. I and my third-party service providers and partners may use your device’s physical location to provide you with personalised location-based services, content and advertisements. In some instances, you may be permitted to allow or deny such uses of your device’s location, but if you chose to deny such uses, we may not be able to provide you with the applicable personalised services and content.
• From you: I may collect your demographic information, such as your zip code or gender, as well as other information, such as your preferred means of communication, when you voluntarily provide this information to me. This information does not necessarily personally identify you or any other user of my website, unless further information is added to it that would allow identification to take place. In such case, the information will be treated as Personal Information.
• Information about how you interact on my website: I may collect information about how you interact on my website. For example, my website may utilise analytic tools to help me better serve you through improved products, services and revisions to my website. This collected information may let me know which services and features your are using the most within my website.

How I may use and disclose Other Information:

Please note that I may use and disclose Other Information for any purpose, except where I am required to do otherwise under applicable law. If I am required to treat Other Information as Personal Information under applicable law, then I may use it as described in ‘How I may collect Other Information’ section above, as well as for all the purposes for which I use and disclose Personal Information. In some instances, I may combine Other Information with Personal Information (such as combining your name with your geographical location). If I combine any Other Information with Personal Information, the combined information will be treated as Personal Information as long as it is combined.

I will use reasonable physical, technical and administrative measures to protect Personal Information under my control. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with me is no longer secure, please notify me immediately in accordance with the ‘Contacting Me’ section below.

I will respond to your request consistent with applicable law.

In your request, please make clear what Personal Information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your Personal Information suppressed from my database or otherwise let me know what limitations you would like to put on my use of your personal information. For your protection, I may only implement requests with respect to your Personal Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send me your request, and I may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. I will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

Please not that I may need to retain certain information for record keeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion (for example, when you make a purchase, you may not be able to change or delete your Personal Information provided until after the completion of such purchase).

Where my collection and use of Personal Information is based on your consent, you may withdraw such consent at any time by emailing me at: studio@soundyourvoice.uk, and such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before your withdrawal.

Cross-boarder transfer

The website is controlled and operated from the United Kingdom; accordingly this Privacy Policy, and my collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information, is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Your Personal Information may be stored and processed in any country in which I engage my service provider, and by using the website you understand that your information will be transferred to other countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have data protection rules that are different from those of your country.

The website is not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16), and I request that such individuals do not provide Personal Information through my website.
